Landmark and monument

Overview

Introduction

The Guardian Wall stands at the eastern edge of Dol-Makjar beneath the Mountains of Kavros. Approximately eighty-foot statues of the heroes of the Shapers’ War emerge from its masonry and the surrounding mountainside. Orcs, dwarves, elves, humans, halflings, gnomes and beast folk are represented side by side as heroes of a revolution now fading from memory.

Appearance

Massive heroic figures emerge from masonry and mountain rock, leaning as though they hold the Mountains of Kavros at bay. Their faces are carved with determination, strength and hope.

Atmosphere

The wall is dedicated to heroism, camaraderie and the struggle of the mortal world to create a brighter future. At the beginning of Campaign 4, a hangman’s noose has been erected beneath it for the execution of Thjazi Fang.

Partially ResolvedEpisode 1

Who compromised the rescue, what did Azune detect on Thjazi, and is Cyd’s disappearance part of the same sabotage?

The immediate failure is known: Thimble was attacked before delivering the genuine glyph, while a different magical signature was placed on Thjazi.

Latest developmentThe Full Rescue Chain Is Reconstructed

The survivors establish that Thimble would plant the glyph, Azune would manipulate the inspection, Cyd would position Casimir’s wagon, and Thaisha and Occtis would complete the extraction. The plan failed before its first physical stage because Thimble was attacked before delivering the glyph.
