Overview
The Mercanauds are a family that has worked for House Halovar for a long time and maintains multiple fronts. Julien knows their principal purpose for the Halovars is to make problems disappear. At Mercanaud Couturier, the twins Rulius and Calastro paralyse Teor and begin a fiendish procedure that cuts apart his shadow. Tyranny later convinces Rulius that House Halovar has cancelled the assignment, and the family releases Teor without open resistance.
