Overview
A few months before Thjazi’s execution, Thjazi Fang and Thimble travelled together on what Thimble calls their last major adventure and came away with the Stone of Nightsong. Thimble describes the relic as something they recovered. Vaelus, who was present and later travelled from the Mournvale to reclaim it, says Thjazi stole the Stone from her. Who Took the Stone of Nightsong—and Why?
Who stole the Stone from Thimble’s hideout, where is it now and why was this funerary relic targeted?

Kattigan reconstructs the attack upon Thimble’s hideout and finds evidence pointing towards the Crow Keepers. Seven masked attackers entered expecting a fight, three were killed, and the survivors removed the bodies and stole the Stone of Nightsong.
Vaelus, Sister of Sylandri
An unnatural cold falls across the Rookery as Vaelus, an elven Sister of the fallen goddess Sylandri, arrives from the Mournvale. She accuses Thjazi of stealing the Stone of Nightsong and demands that Halandil return it.
