During the final minutes of Episode 1, Thaisha brought Halandil upstairs to retrieve a silver box she had carried during her travels and believed Thjazi had asked her to recover. When Vaelus spoke Thimble’s name downstairs, the box opened by itself. Shattered black clay and black velvet moved together and began forming a mask resembling the living clay mask worn by Bolaire.
