Rights, attribution and removal requests

Use this page to raise a concern about ownership, attribution, source credit, use of an image or other material, or a request to replace, restrict or remove material from Rolling Realm.

When to use this page

This request route is appropriate when you believe:

  • your work or material has been used without suitable permission or context;
  • a creator, photographer, artist, publisher or source has been credited incorrectly;
  • an image, quotation or other item should be replaced, restricted or removed;
  • the site has misunderstood the ownership or permitted use of material.

A factual error in an article should instead be submitted through the separate editorial correction route.

What information to provide

Identify the affected Rolling Realm page and the exact material involved. Explain your relationship to the work or rights concerned, the action you are requesting and any correct credit, source link, licence information or supporting context that may help assess the request.

Do not send identity documents or sensitive personal information unless it is genuinely necessary. Rolling Realm may ask for further context where a request cannot be assessed from the information supplied.

How requests are considered

Requests are reviewed against the material used, its source, the purpose and context of the coverage, attribution records and the information supplied by the requester. A suitable response may involve correcting a credit, adding context, replacing an image, restricting material or removing it, but no particular action is promised in advance.

Submit a rights or removal request

Include source links, credit wording, licence information or other concise evidence where available.
