At the end of the Tachonis assault on Palazzo Davinos, Ethrand enters Occtis’s guest chamber with six ghouls while maintaining a Silence spell. He holds a perfectly spherical black stone surrounded by wings and orders the undead to open Occtis so the stone can be placed “where it belongs.” Its identity, origin and intended effect are unknown.
