The Reclamation of the Hallowed Round
Halandil’s company restores the former Dithyramb of Azgra as the Hallowed Round, turning a place of compelled worship into a theatre for mortal stories and celebration.
Overview
At the lower edge of Dol-Makjar, Halandil Fang shows Thaisha the ancient amphitheatre once used to propitiate Azgra. The company is rebuilding it under the name the Hallowed Round, adding backstage structures, weather covers, concessions and performance infrastructure while preserving the massive central tree and the view across the city and forest. Uli, who remembers life before the Shapers’ War, explains that even the old songs offered to Azgra carried mortal passion that belonged to the people themselves. The restoration remains incomplete and subject to uncertain city rules.
