General Raimond Davinos enters the gardens to speak with Julien moments after warning that House Tachonis has brought far more strength into Dol-Makjar than expected. An invisible black-clad figure reaches through Raimond’s body and pulls out his skull and upper spine, killing him instantly in front of Julien and Vaelus.
