Wrath and Judgment

Also known as Sir Filoneus’s War Dogs, The Singing Dogs

Singing war dogsHalovar Security CompanionsAllied To House HalovarHigh Against Spellcasters ThreatAlive And Serving Sir Filoneus

Sir Filoneus Halovar’s two chained war dogs, whose involuntary angelic song confuses spellcasters.

Introduction

Wrath and Judgment are the two war dogs kept by Sir Filoneus Halovar. One dog’s throat glows dully as both emit a constant, ethereal song that Filoneus says confuses spellcasters. He cannot tell which animal is Wrath and which is Judgment, so the archive preserves them as one paired record rather than inventing individual identities.

Appearance

Two dogs held on silvery-white chains. At least one has a dull glow in the back of its throat. Their breed, colouring, size and individual markings are not established.

Behaviour

They growl and snarl while producing a beautiful humming or whining tone that appears to be involuntary and continuous.

Habitat & Ecology

Kept with Sir Filoneus at Villa Aurora and used within House Halovar’s security apparatus.

Origin

Unknown. Episode 2 establishes that the larger hounds guarding the Prismatic Retort are similar in kind, but Episode 3 does not explain who bred or altered either pair.
